MAGNETIC COMPASS
I found there was not to many places to
put your Mag compass on the Cozy,come to think of it on any other airplane
either, that did not have interferance of some kind. The result of the installation
was at best a compromise. I did find a spot on my Cozy. On the canopy about
18" from the front of the canopy and held in place with double sided
foam tape. The mounting bracket is .025 alum. formed to match the
canopy slope. This has been in that location for the last 2 years. Oh,
yes I did not have to make any compensation it runs true at all points and to the DG. And its just above my line of sight.
