ØThe Strong Electric Pitch Trim for Canards was developed to allow
for an easy and more precise way to trim an already superb flying airplane, and
to free the center of the instrument panel for a more efficient layout.
ØThe Pitch Trim as designed allows you to mount the unit on either
side of the forward cockpit, one inch away from the fuselage side between FS-22
and the instrument panel.
ØYOU HAVE FULL MANUAL OVER RIDE AT ALL TIMES REGARDLESS OF TRIM
POSITION.
ØThe complete unit installed is 20 inches long, 1 1/2 inches in
diameter and weighs 1 pound 9 OZ. installed, and operates from your aircraft 12vdc electrical
system.
ØNO CANARD MODIFICATION IS REQUIRED.
ØYou have the option of mounting a switch on each control stick
(recommended) or one switch on the instrument panel close to the throttle.
ØThe operating time for the motor is short.Based on a one hour flight you may
expect to use the trim for two minutes including take-off and landing.
ØThe motor has a built in clutch that releases when the adjustable
torque setting is exceeded preventing the motor from locking or overloading.
ØInstallation
time is approximately three hours.
ØAn
illustrated installation and operating manual is provided. The units are
warranted for two years from the time of installation

H.G.is at it again, this time twice around the world, West to East,
then East to West.H.G`s. Long EZ
is equipped with a Strong Electric Pitch Trim. On his last world record flight
to South America and back he made this observation: Nov.10, 1998 Crossing the Atlantic from Dakar,
Africa to Recife, Brazil."I was glad
during initial climb out to have installed the STRONG ELECTRIC PITCH TRIM which
already on the way to Dakar
had proven its usefulness. It now was so easy to trim the heavy aircraft very
precisely and I was sorry not to have installed the system earlier"
